I personally can't say that I like it BUT I would say I LOVE it. That's a very fine looking machine in my humble opinion. I really like the new styling. That's what drawed me to mine.

Never mind Eric. He probably wouldn't buy one not because of the styling but because it don't have an 8 track player on it :)

Eric there's no way you'll convince me that deep down (and not very deep I might add) you don't like that machine so come friggen clean and admit it.

You like it. You'll be a better man for saying so ;) I don't think you need time out on that chair. I think we should throw you out in the out house

Well I have to say that I agree with Eric I think the new style is ugly. I also have to say I would probably trade my left and right nut to have one. I mean you guys have seen my B8200. The poor thing needs a rest and some much needed tlc.:D:D Dusty

Well, then you should trade up to the John Deere then if you don't care for any Kubotas.
Because old to new, is still a reflection of a Kubota.
Dude, this guy is showing his pride, what happened when you showed yours?

Hey Thanks Will. I got all caught up in whether or not the new style is pretty and forgot the reason for the thread. I never even congratulated Eddie on his new tractor. Congrats Eddie. And don't get me wrong I love my B8200 and when I said that it needed some rest and some TLC , I meant it , the tractor needs some rest so I can give it some TLC. I am pure orange because of how well they work and how easy they are to work on. But it does not mean I have to like their appearance. Again Eddie that tractor will keep you happy for a long long time.:cool: Dusty

Guys... with me it is always "form follows function". With me and tractors it is all about performance, power, longevity, dependability.... and somewhere down that line is appearance.

Just give thanks it ain't green for gosh sakes:D

Nice tractor Eddie! I have a B2410 which has almost 950 hours on it. 99.9% of those hours were with me in the seat. I had an opportunity to "play" with a new tractor exactly like yours. There were some subtle differences... but nothing that related to performance and or power.

The one thing I did notice was my 2410's sheet metal was more "beefyier" and I liked the nonintegrated loader control valve an the 2410... other than that I'd call it even up.

Later, Butch:rolleyes:

PS.... I think I'd consided giving up a "left nut" for it, after all at my age I am not using them much anymore. After all it ain't like giving up a kidney or the like:eek:

Eddie,
I'm glad you found this forum and that you like it here.

I want congratulate you on creating this thread, you did good. You found the one item that caused some discord amongst the members. Ironically it was a Kubota tractor, the very reason we are ALL here.

Wasn't it VW back in the sixties that said "ugly is only skin deep?" (I wasn't even a thought of a whisper of a twinkle in my dad's eye at that point, but this is what I hear . . .)

One way or another, how a machine is styled, as it was mentioned earlier in posts, is second to its ability to perform its function. If it's rounded in style but in good mechanical shape, reliable and gets the job done, then so be it. (Don't get me started on some modern cars . . .)

It's a cool tractor, Eddie. Have fun playing in the dirt/snow/etc. like the rest of us!
