Its warm, very windy snowing and melting. The drainage crew worked about three hours to get stuff flowing in front of my house. Downstream its building up and nowhere to go, creek at low point is plugged with ice. Gonna be a mess on sunday. Supposed to really warm up.

Wth?? It was warm and sunny an hour ago, now a couple degrees below zero and snowing.wind came up and for a moment there i saw snow going up. Now its just goin sideways.ditches full, neighbours yards rim full with water and now this. My best buddy is the public works foreman, hes running his butt off trying to keep things from drowning. Doesent help when his contact number gets posted on facebook for all the locals to see.

And in the time to write this, it stopped snowing and sun came out. Go figure.

We are here again 10-9-2019, bringing you all another fine episode of snow report!

Well snow storm #2, and this white stuff falling from the sky has gotten too old already!

This nasty weather is slowing down my house building!

Please just keep it there my friend, if I never see snow again that would be great. A buddy of mine from out west (Calgary) just sent me a picture of their second snow fall. I'm beginning to understand why older folks head south for the winter, cause everything hurts more in the cold which reminds me that I am one of those older folks now.

Non scientific but I think its going to be a big winter here in the Northeast. Last time we had acorns like this was prior to our last 100" season and last winter was abnormally quiet on the big storm front.

Never really thought about it tiktock but you're right, we have an abundance of acorns as well but I sure hope your wrong about this being a hard winter.

Skeets, always liked the way you think.

Don't get much of the white stuff here. But the winter rain is a lot colder than the summer rain :(

We just shut our AC off on Sunday night. It's been in the mid 90's during the day through Saturday.

Just pulled a late season (November) Mule Deer tag for Nebraska. leave on the 18th. Fingers crossed in snow issues. Taking a 4x4 pickup truck.

Gonna be a tight season. Hunting the opener on the 15th here with my 460 S&W Performance Center wheel gun, 15 & 16, rest the 17th and off to Nebraska with a long gun.

They said back in the early 70s we were heading toward another little ice age, maybe Jon Snow was right after all
