Since I'm putting up a new garage I figured time to put the bx to work doing something. Using the tiller to reshape around the site and create a new home for the camper. The ground is as hard as a rock this time of year. Slow going, but cheaper than hiring it done.

nice job - you got a concrete finisher for the bx too???
It is a great feeling to do it yourself - forget about the money savings the thought of "I DID THIS" is .....priceless.

I too have a BX2350 and have put it through a LOT of hard work. I love the fact that it takes EVERYTHING I throw at it and it asks for MORE ! ! !

Getting further, we set trusses yesterday. Hopefully get rakes built, fascia up and have it sheeted Monday afternoon. Shingles Tuesday. I haven't done much of the framing. Hired it done for time constraints. I am doing all the dirt work. Also decided the pad for the camper wasn't big enough.

question for you - i am trying to determine the scale - what is the rough opening of your garage doors ??? I am in the process of building a "shed" to place my BX and B in - the BX needs a headroom of 7' 4" and MORE - garage doors are typically 7' - 0" - what are you doing differently ????? You going with an 8' - 0" opening???

9'x8' doors on this garage. 10' sidewalls. House garage has 9'x7' doors. My bx fits in no problem. Newer bx have taller ROPS apparently. You can order about any size door you want?Mike,

Lookin good. It nice to have them shootin holes- er, windows on every side. My shop has nothing to the west, which is direction of house and driveway. Fixed that with surveillance camera. 9x8 doors are a good size, taller vehicles fit easy. My shop door is 10w9h.fits every thing i need it to.forgot to mention tractor, looks good too.
Just laid down and graded out 30 ton of rock. Should give me a good base for whatever i decide to do with final drive finish. Took about an hour anda half. Would have been faster to jump on the bobcat, but i can say i used my equipment instead of the contractors. Should have the garage shingled by Monday.

No. The camper won't fit. I have extremely cheap off site winter storage for that.What is the point of the building?

Finally got her finished up except electricity and caulking of siding. Will probably Paint to match the house. Guess the bx gets the attached garage for the winter and I get to trek here for the truck.

I built a pole bldg. 16x32 and was going for 12' door but made post holes deep and lost a foot there then front of bldg. was on downslope so had to raise floor some so lost another foot. now have 10' door and I do hit it with tall things all the time.
