I couldn't be more impressed with this thing... except... it stalled/shut off on me quite a few times. Hoping its operator error. I run about 1300 to 1400 rpms doing light fel work and seems fine. Then when I'm driving with load it just shuts off immediately. No bogging or warning. Just off. No warning lights. Starts right back up. Any solutions? Do I need to contact my salesman? Thanks y'all.

IF you are bouncing around the Seat switch like wolfman said will muck you up......but, is should cut the engine THEN the bounce down should make it back to running.....if it cut off completely then it might be something else.
I was thinking maybe I'm not revving it high enough... but it seems electrical considering the quickness of shut off, which would explain seat safety switch. But its happened while barely moving.

that 1300-1400 throttle would be a little low for me to do any work on my BX, i can even back up the driveway in 4wd and low gear at the rpm.....i understand you are breaking it in, but i would think at 2000 -2200 would be 75% throttle on that machine.
First welcome to the Orange, and yes call the dealer like wolfman said sounds like a safety seat adjustment,, and working just above idle is not a good idea, these engines have a lot of power, but you don't want to lug them down that's hard on any motor. Keep the RPMs up high enough to do the work and not lugging and she will last a long time. Maybe longer than you and I
Yes, sounds like one of the "safety" switches triggering..........For me, it's the seat switch when it does this.......Does it start right back up when you kind of wiggle your butt???
What bothers me the most is that slow RPM. That is almost a fast idle. Dont' worry about running it at 1500 up to 2000 for just normal work. Remember, the faster the engine speed, the more work/strength, you get out of the hydraulics..........God bless.......Dennis

Take your look at the owner's manual. I believe there are some recommendations for engine speed and break in. I now have just over 50 hours on my B2650. Great Tractor has never stalled.

When I do loader work, I try to run about 1800-2000. Maybe that's a little low but it has plenty of power for me.

Well, I'm hoping y'all called it. I've now put 10 hrs on her, and she has still stalled a couple times today. But I'm getting to know her better. I ran around 1650 rpms for light fel work, loosened the fuel cap a tad. when I turn to look behind my right shoulder, my left cheek comes off the seat ever so slightly and... stall. I'm really hoping that's the cause (seat switch). Is there a way to bypass this thing? Just for a little while to make sure that's the culprit. It has stalled while slowly pulling out of my driveway, which still has me wondering if its seat switch... other than minor stalls, I am in love with my new toy. Thanks guys for input.

On my BX 2370 if I shift my weight to one side of the seat (as I did today on a slope) it will stall. I am still getting used to it but I will not disable the switch. I just need to know what I can and cannot do. I can be a bit clumsy so any Safety feature is a good thing.
If it's not stalling at higher rpm I would not think it's the seat switch. I do loader work from 1600 to 1900 rpm. Maybe your working it too hard at such a low rpm. I mow around 2400. Don't be afraid to rev it.

Lift the seat and look, there should be a metal tab that makes contact with the switch. Bend that tab out to make more contact with the switch. This is too easy...
