I need to change the fuel filter that's located underneath on a BX 25. Any suggestions on how to pinch off the fuel line so I don't have to drain the fuel tank? Or is there another trick available to avoid making a mess? Thanks?

Here you go. Here's a video I did last week on doing a full service on a BX. Just use a pair of needle nose vice grips to pinch the line. It's shown in the video and how to bleed it after.

I did the same thing as wildfire with the needle nose vise grips and couple months later were I put those pliers I developed a fuel leak. My opinion is to use those vise grips and cut 2 small pieces of rubber hose and put over the jaws of the vise grips so that the teeth do not tear the hose all up. Just a little FYI take it for what it is worth.

That video was incredibly helpful in taking all the intimidation of doing the service. Thank you again.
Your kindly welcome.

You put them on to tight. I've never had that issue and I've done it dozens of times. Technically the best tool to use is these. I never mentioned them in the video because most guys won't have them.
