I have a B2910 with a fuel line problem. The return line from the injector pump to the fuel tank keeps popping off. I replaced the factory clamp with a hose clamp and it will still pop off.

I've never had that problem before. If it's tight with the new clamps on it to me it sounds like it's building up pressure in the tank. Check the vent on the tank and make sure it is open.

It should have a vent hole in the fuel cap. Sometimes they will get trash in them and can't properly vent the tank. Maybe that will be all that's wrong.

Maybe that will fix you up. How nasty was the vent? It seems to me that it would be something like that wrong with it. The return line shouldn't be under pressure like the other fuel lines would be. It just about has to have some type of blockage causing it to build up excessive pressure. I hope it will work for you now.

Check to make sure the actual return line is clear. The return fuel will pressure up if that line is plugged.

Problem fixed...As it turns out I was missing a gasket that goes between the fuel cap and the rubber seal. That is what was preventing built up pressure from escaping..
Thanks all.

I'm glad you got it worked out. I figured it had to be the vent. It's hard to believe that little hole can affect so many things on the tractor. One thing good that came out of this is that you learned another thing to look for and by using OTT your problem may be able to help somebody else as well. Good luck.

I very much agree!

It's a bummer when a person finally gets there tractor fixed but don't report back on what the fix was. So Elindy, thank you very much for taking the time to let us know how your issue was resolved.
