It's that time of year again neighbors. Field Day of the Past is approaching in two weeks for its huge 3 day event held September 19-21 in Rockville Va. Tons of things to see and do for the whole family. Truck tractor and lawnmower pulls. A steam powered saw mill antique cars, trucks, tractors and construction equipment on display and working.

This event has something for everyone and if you've never been it's hard to get it all in, in a days time.

Hell I was blown away with the gal who just recently left me. She had never been before and loved every minute of the event the two times I took her there. We would stay late at night and watch the big rigs pull the sled.

Oddly during the day she was all into the lawnmower pulling the little sled. We had talked about building her a lawnmower puller and I was going to be her sponsor and she'd drive for me.

And this woman was a 37 year old accoutant, city girl.


Dammit Im really going to miss attending this year without my side kick...
