I just picked up one of these for moving dirt around the property. Neat little machine, and it makes the job go about 5 times faster than just taking a bucket of dirt at a time with the FEL.

That is a cool machine.
I think it would be an awesome landscaping tool.
But looks like an orphan, as not many around like that.
My kinda toy.

Yeah, I had never even seen one until this one popped up on CL. The machine was in Goldendale, WA, about a 160 mile drive from me. I used to live there, and it turns out that the guy who owned it was someone I had gone to middle school with and was in my Boy Scout troop. It was kinda cool to re-connect over the little Kubota.

The snowfall out here is pretty hit or miss. Sometimes we get a foot or so, sometimes we get none at all.

Yea, I've had to move as much as 4 feet and way more on the drifts in one storm, but they got 12 to 20 feet the year before I moved, so I'm prepared for more! :D

While loading up the little Skyroad yesterday, I got to thinking. When we were kids, we went out and played with our toy tractors in the dirt, and we were always looking for new ways to utilize them. Now that we're adults we still go out and play with our tractors in the dirt, and always seek new ways to utilize them.
I guess the only thing that changes is the size and price of the toys.:D

The older the boys, the bigger the toys.
Or he with the most toys when he dies- wins!

Last winter was the harshest in over 60 years.
Tons of snow and brutal cold. Hope i never see one like that again.

I have seen similar machines, but never one with a blade.
Should be handy.

Actually, a '74 401/TH400. Even with 2.87 gears I can hit around 84 mph in the 1/8th. About 352hp. Pretty much stock motor.

COOL!
How does the rear hopper get loaded? Does it have a dump feature?

I load it up with the the FEL on my B6000. It does have an hydraulic dump, and it pretty easily holds about 2/3 to 3/4 of a yard.

When did they offer that model in North America? Or was that imported?

The KC series of tracked dumpers we can buy here dump to the front and they don't have dozer blades.

I like this one better......you can spread your load after you dump. That way you don't have to keep running with the loader tractor all the time. One of these would be perfect for building my trails.

They don't offer them in North America that I know of, it's just been imported, and thus I do believe they fall in the grey category and you can not get any Kubota or dealer support for them. :(

Kubota NA should offer a blade on the KC series that we cna get here. I like this setup.

That way my loader can stay at where I am loading and I could haul to my trails and spread with the carrier.

Looking at purchasing one of these units and wondered if the track rollers are available or if anyone knows if they can be rebuilt with new bearings? It looks to be tin dust caps on the outside of each roller and I'd like to know if these can be popped off to access bearings?

Also, is the computer or electronics box behind the front plastic panel required for anything associated with the orphan tracked dumper with blade configuration or was this all associated with the original use of the machine as a combine/harvester?
