Hi All,

Questions for the Orange guru's here.

Does anyone know the tip speed on the decks?

How is the cut compared to high end commercial landscape mowers such as Walker, Wright, Exmark?

How is the vacuum action with the OEM blades without the collection system?

How is the collection system powered? If it is at all, can't get all that much info on it from the dealer.

Does the deck tend to wash leaves forward or does it draw them in with the collection system?

What material are the spindles made out of? Are the bearings tapered rollers or ball type?

Would I be better off getting a LandPride FDR1660 rear discharge rear finish mower as that has blade options and an 18K tip speed which is in the commercial mower speed?

Thanks,

Tom

Tom,

them thar are lots of good questions....
I might be able to only answer a few....

I have the 60" under my BX, is cuts like a sum-beauch, shoots grass a good ways, I think the vacuum is used off the rear pto, The bx has a PTO position to engage both at the same time.

Can answer the spindle questions,

I do know that it cuts very well, heavy duty frame on the MMM, and the blades are equally made well.

someone will come in and answer more of these questions..:D
