Hi folks , I just bought a 2013 L4600 and would like to put a couple work lights on it , I bought 2 27w led's from amazon . I have looked on many sites and can't find the wire for a rear work light , help would be appreciated. I even called the dealer , he said there isn't one, so why is there a 5a fuse for one ?

You might have a power wire under or around the right side fender.

Use the search feature and you will find several installations here.

BINGO!:D On my B2410 I was going to install a switchable power supply with a commonly found electrical plug-ins.

When probing around under the right back fender for exiting sources for power... I found a blind 20 amp circuit right before my eyes! I looked at the wiring diagrams in my Work Service Manual and low and behold... there it was... a work light circuit already installed.

I never knew it was there until I peeled back the split cable protector and voila... a ring terminal for the ground and a red pin insert positive. This circuit is energized when the ignition key is turned on... so you can't accidentally leave the work light on when you park the tractor.

All the ones I've seen are always hot with key on and are not switched.

Ron,
Hot with key on is what they call switched power! ;)
They ignition is the switch, opposed to hot all the time, which is un-switched power.
But yes, it's not controlled by the light switch. :)

Not exactly how I said it, but pretty much the same. Let me add a word.

All the ones I've seen are always hot with key on and are not switched afterwards.

Thanks again for all the help. I called the dealer and he told me there is not a plug for a work light :mad:I cut the 2 zip ties under the RIGHT side fender that hold the wires for the tail lights and there it was , a plug with a yellow and( I think it was brown ) wire . When key is on it reads 12.6v. I cut the plug off and hard wired a $3 metal toggle switch in and all is good .,Thanks :D
