Here are some pictures of work I did with my Kubots L3800 and Land Pride equipment. Most is primarily done with the power rake and some with the 3 point seeder.
Rob,

not sure it gets any better than that ! :)
Hope you get some grass established before a heavy rain.

I should add that I take care of our softball diamonds in town here for 5-6 years now and got sick of having to borrow equipment, so I went and got my own this spring. I a trying to do some landscape type work on the side to help pay for it. The power rake is a great piece of equipment. Box scraper, tiller and seeder all got some use, but the power rake by far is used the most.

Rob if I may, take care around the ball fields if you might be digging I know the story of a man,, a contractor,, that kept up the ball fields for his sons teams, and one day cleaned out a drainage ditch with a BH. In so doing he hooked a cable that no one knew was there and managed to take most of Wall Street off line for about 4 hours. And in so doing lost everything he spent his life time working to build, he was sued by everybody that lost money during the outage, it is a shame but it happened. So guys if your working abound any place with a hoe or bucket, (and unless you know for certain that's nothing there) please don't forget to give the ONE CALL people a call, call before you dig, this man didn't and turned his life upside down.

Skeets, good point. I highlighted what I think causes most operators to get into the trouble you just described. They THINK they know nothing is there, so proceed without locates.

If you operate equipment on property other then your own, whether you receive pay or not, you best have digging insurance and for sure call for locates 3 days before you intend to start digging. Also remember when locators mark a line you are required to HAND DIG 24" on each side of the line to be cleared of responsibility!!!!!

When you call for locates you receive a confirmation number. Have that number with you when you're on the job. If you have a problem, like a line was not located and you find it, you can save a lot of grief on your part.

After they come out and mark, still pay attention. At a company i used to work for. We had 1 call come out and mark. We were about 20 ft off from where they marked the lines. First hole i dug, got down about 1 1/2 feet and found caution flagging. We stopped and started hand digging. We found a high voltage power line, that wasn't marked. The guy marking for the power company marked the line on the edge of the road instead of walking through the woods where it was actually located. If we weren't paying attention someone could have gotten killed

Very nice job. Only thing I would have done differently is to keep the grade at least 6"-8" below floor line. Looks like cement board siding, and it doesn't like grade.

Wish I had the garage!

WOW! They are proud of the prices of powered rakes!! Judging from the job you did, I was going to put one on my Christmas wish list. Now I've had second thoughts... I think I'll stick with my tiller and landscape rake w/tail wheel.
