So I'm in the habit of using my front loader to lift me to do simple chores like clean the gutters, pick some fruit and so in which is a 2 person job. One in the bucket and one to run the controls. I'm trying to learn if I can turn this into a one man project by installing some sort of aux controls that will allow me to lift the bucket up and down while I am in the bucket.

Anyone know if this is possible?

Thanks.

That's exactly what the two ropes (look at the controls area they are a little hard to see) are for on this ancient digger...

My father did the same thing all the time with them. I, will never use them.

Ha ....I hear ya. However it certainly is much safer than having my girlfriend raise and lower me lol. I thought maybe there were a set of controls that can be added on but it sounds like not. Might have to try to rig something.

First question:How high does the bucket go. My BX is pretty limited as to how high it will go. The least you might do is raise the bucket and use a ladder to get up there. Hydraulics sometimes have the dumb habit of failing when your head is in the wrong lace. I never trust them.

Dude I cant believe that a boy from Da Burgh would do something like that,, I cannot tell you how many accidents I have investigated on mine sites when contractors have done the same thing,,,, Do as you will, but it aint a good idea no matter how you look at it
