Blowing hydro filters

I have a BX23, I just replaced the trany. Now it keeps blowing the hydraulic filter when I crank it. What could this be?

Fluid is not flowing to where it needs to, and is building up way too much pressure.
Did you do all of the rebuild yourself?

Its a new trany from our local Kubota dealer. Its almost like a pressure relief is sticking, but I cant find it.

Got to be a restriction somewhere. The only reason it would blow filters

The relief valve is on the bottom of the three point control valve.

Went to the dealer today and they are clueless.

Sounds silly but when you say blowing filters, do you mean blowing out the o-ring or physically exploding the metal? If you have the wrong filter diameter/style on there, the gasket won't line up and will cause blow outs.

Also, if you have a FEL but its disconnected, you need to hook up the hoses correctly so the system bypasses. If you're stuck against the detent, that's bad news too and will cause your tranny to go again.
