If you guys and gals are anything like me. You buy a new used or new new tractor and you and start hunting implements. What's the oddball ones you can't live without. 1/2/3 row jd planter , allis chalmers fertilizer box attached 2 row pumpkin planter, old wheat drill........

Yes it does. It would count as double points if you had two old buddies in a garden cart. I'm hoping to have an old Tom come weds in my garden cart heading to house. I could carry him but it's a good excuse to get new toy out

I've got a 45-50 year old Howard P-40 Rotovator that I use every year on half an acre of garden. And, an ageless JD - well, at least it is green - sickle bar mower that I use on the side of the road, and for whatever grows up out of my ever growing run-off ditch.
Now that I think of it, my 5' brush hog is a 35 year old Montgomery Ward...
None of em look all that great, but they run like fine Swiss watches.

Sorry, I'll type this when I stop laughing at the sheep thing!

7 Foot 272 New Idea Cut-ditioner. Mows hay, turns wet hay, windrows in a pinch and clips the pasture. Built like a tank (can run as hard as one too). Doesn't do quite the job that the old MC Rotary Sythe did back on the farm though.

Now your giving out secrets of the trade. I just picked up an old allis 2 row planter with the dry fertilizer boxes. It's in mint shape but $1100 damn these have gotten ridiculously high.

Just planted corn in my garden with my old JD 246 2 row planter, I'm gonna plant 2 acres of corn/soybean mix with it this weekend at my hunting property.

What are those planters running in yOur area? Around here $8-900 minimum. That's a good model
I gave $300 for it last year, but it's missing the fertilizer hoppers. I've seen them on craigslist with all the hoppers for $800-$1500.

I've got an old metal bed spring I pull a round in the pasture and corrals to disperse horse turds...just like the one dad used. Works fantastically and doesn't hurt the grass ! Hard to find these days tho. Don't raise sheep, eat sheep, or date sheep...

Got a Ferguson 12-A0-40 2-bottom plow. Was told it was a good deal at $175. I then spent about $50 for 2 new coulters and the time to adapt them to the old hubs.
First picture is when I got it.
Second Picture is with the new coulters.
