Hi, I am new here, and wanting to buy a Kubota, and learn more about them. I found a 1992 B7100 about an hour from my home. The tractor has 913 hours on it, hydrostatic, 4wd,42 inch box scraper, 1630 Front End Loader, new front tires, 3 new hydraulic lines this winter,it has a canopy, and is very clean, looks like it has never been beat on. It's one of the cleanest ones I have seen. Also, it does not come with a Belly Mower. The guy started at 6900.00, and came down to $6000.00, and I may be able to get it for a bit less. I don't really know much about pricing. Can anybody tell me if this is a good price, or should I keep looking for a lower price?

Thanks
Jim

Buy it! I bought a 1977 with a few hours on a rebuilt motor, new front tires and a 48 inch finish mower for $4250. Since then, I have spent another $600-700 on other attachments.

You have a loader and hydrostat and a canopy for $1750 more. I priced a new loader and I choked!

Buy it and enjoy!

If it meets your needs, go for it. The B7100 was around for a long time, so you can get parts. You will be dazzled by what it can do... Price is good.

I love it. It does everything I want it to do. I mow our 1.5 acre yard, tend to our 1.5 acre market gardens, blade snow, blade rock, move hay bales, run a tiller, disc hillers, lay plastic mulch, cultivate, dig post holes, and much more. I wish it had a loader, I knew that going into buying it. However, the price was right and it was only 25 minutes from my house.

Post some pics when you buy it.

Once you go orange you never go back!!
I say it is a good deal - and you will kick yourself later for not getting one sooner ! The things it will do and the time it will save will be tremendous!
If you need the MMM, you might be able to find one if you look hard enough.

Thank you Carl for the Link. I have already been there and checked it out. There is a lot of interesting things for me to learn about Kubotas, and I look forward to it.

Now, the tractor that I am looking at, the guy wanted $6000.00 for it, I offered him $5400.00 yesterday, and he wrote to me today and offered it to me for $5600.00. It doesn't sound bad to me, but I don't know much about pricing. What do you guys think about it.

Hi,

I have another question for you guys. I don't know anything about buying a compact tractor, and was wondering if a title should come with it in the sale like a car would. Just want to be on the safe side.

Thanks
Jim

Tractors and implements don't have titles, they are not road vehicles, just get a bill of sale with the serial# and model# on it.
