Covid or not, all of the people affected deserved consideration and the respect of some sort of a response from them, if it was covid, then they had a resonable explanation that people would understand. It was a conscious decision on their part to do nothing.
This whole debacle is 99.9% speculation with very little in the way of facts, with even fewer facts being presented in the last year or more.

I think we all hope that every single person who is owed money gets it back, but as to how many remain in that situation, whether or not there's a plan to return money, whether or not there are additional lawsuits seeking reparations, or whether a court has ordered some form of repayment program still remains a mystery.

In this day and age, anyone can say anything and make any claim they want, and it gets sucked up faster than a line of cocaine!

Since EA is supposedly operating again as EA, that would imply that EA never filed for, or at least was never granted bankruptcy, so any outstanding debts must be paid. Maybe a resident lawyer can shed some light on this.

Agreed. What or why it happened means nothing to me. What I feel says a lot about who they are as a company is how they handled the situation. They continued to allow their website to accept payment for orders well after they had shut down the factory. They never gave ANY answers or responses to their customers that had existing orders, and to this day, there are still people waiting on orders that have not even been contacted. So it doesn't matter whatsoever what caused these issues. What matters was their response to what happened, and that was absolutely horrendous. There are better companies out there to do business with that makes products just as good.

What are you basing these comments on? What you've read on this and other forums? Facebook, X etc?

I spent a lot of money on EA purchases, I like their designs and manufacturing quality, liked Ted's informative videos and shop walk throughs, and as a happy owner I was disappointed with the entire situation. But my only agenda is fact-based, provable information. I'm not even going to consider ordering anything from EA until the facts are evident. I have no interest in speculation, 10 second headlines, new member posts with various claims etc.

This thread needs to be a "put up or shut up" thread, and so far there's very little "put up" going on. No one here actually knows what is currently going on, who's owed money, what the plans are etc., but this is the world we now live in where people can say anything without accountability.

I belong to several tractor discussion groups and have seen, and STILL SEE, several people coming into the various groups saying they paid for and have not received the product they ordered from EA and have never been contacted. I have seen countless of people say that they never received any communication from EA when the problems started, and still haven't. I watched with my own eyes in these groups where EA would post in one group that they are shipping out orders, some of which were BRAND NEW orders, and then see in another group where a guy would post he was still waiting on an order from over a year ago, and has never been contacted by EA.

I have no reason to believe all of these various people are making up lies. I also have no reason to copy their posts and paste them onto this website so that I can put up or shut up.

I have watched many EA fanboys comes to their defense. I have watched several people suffer from what EA did and EA couldn't even offer them a phone call or an email giving them any reassurance they will eventually get their order. That's enough for me to determine for myself that they have crappy business practices. Not only will they never get an order from me, I will absolutely share my thoughts on how I seen them treat their customers.

Businesses can and do have problems. There is zero excuse why they couldn't have reached out to every single one who had an existing order and say they're working on it. I even understand them shipping new orders before they can work on old orders because they need a stream of money coming in to pay for more materials and labor. But still, they could have at least reached out to these people and say SOMETHING. But, they didn't....

Plenty of other great products besides EA who actually communicates with and respects their customers.

I think we've had enough OPINION POSTS on this.
Unless you have first hand Knowledge, or a relevant question, do not post about it , simple as that.

So entirely hearsay. That's what I figured. No first hand, factual information regarding how many are still out of pocket, or whether EA is in the process of getting refunds out to anyone. Not surprising from another non-EA owning individual. You have zero stake in this but lots of information based on what you've gleaned from forums. Exhibit A your honor ... a bunch of posts by complete strangers. Great work counselor!

@North Idaho Wolfman, I'm done with all the speculation too and even though I have little faith in anyone presenting anything that remotely resembles factual information, I'll bite my tongue until such a time as that changes.

Yup, I have said what I have to say and can leave it alone in this group. Curious though, are members allowed opinions in other threads on this site? Say for example if someone is having an issue with a tractor that I don't own, am I entitled to offer an opinion in THAT situation?
