I got caught up in the whole fiasco with them last year. Literally the last message was your "land plane is shipping today" then nothing. Now they are back in business I emailed them asking where was the land plane I ordered and paid for back in 2023. Nothing but silence. Ted is a crook and I would never recommend anyone do business with EA ever. I certainly will never give them another $ of my money.

Yet, they still have their defenders on these forums that make every excuse that can be used to justify what they have done. I just don't understand it; you see that others have been robbed of their hard-earned money and you defend them for doing so.

And this thread will go the same way as the others if the same storyline happens.

I'm kinda new to the EA saga. Could you explain what, exactly, we're prohibited from posting and maybe why you don't want it posted (in case it's not obvious)?

The last thread turned into a mud slinging fest, not something we need on here.

Check the statute of limitations. It's typically 2- 5 years. File a small claims case if possible. You may not get your plane, but it will follow them when they need business credit.

No way I would pay all up front and wait months for an item.
This spring I was looking for a grapple I liked the EA but found out they were not in business.

I called a manufacturer that also makes good Grapples and when they
told me that there was a two month lead time and they charge your card
on the order date, they were out. 100% scam even if they do deliver the product.

Ended up getting a grapple delivered in two weeks without drama.

I always wondered how/why anyone could wait MONTHS for something ?
Really 3 month = a season, in farming terms, more of less.
so you could miss Spring planting...loss of a year !!
miss Summer, you lose a nice paying job to someone else !!

I ordered a side link through Fit Rite Hydraulics (only game in town for a side link for my LX2610) a couple of yrs ago, at that time, the wait was about 9 months and I had to pay in advance. I think some people are ok with paying in advance and it may be due to the company's reputation, EA, not so much.

Yes, I can see if the part is only made/sold by ONE company like your side link. That must be a 'special' part, very low volume for sales, hand crafted ?
You also probably 'made do' with what you had to carry on business though, didn't just sit and twirl thumbs for 9 months

If you're a contractor or a farmer who needs to get stuff done now, today, then waiting for an implement won' t work. But for many of us, we can put off a job and wait for a piece of equipment to show up.

Some people have to wait a year or more for their house to be built. Should they only buy a house that's move in ready? Sometimes getting exactly what you want takes time.

Sad to hear this about them. I have ordered a ripper, compacter, disk from them over the years with zero issues. Just looked at their 12 inch double bottom plow , but not going to purchase now, after reading the comments . I don't want to rehash old dialog but is it possible their problems were COVID related?

Covid or not, all of the people affected deserved consideration and the respect of some sort of a response from them, if it was covid, then they had a resonable explanation that people would understand. It was a conscious decision on their part to do nothing.
