They probably treat people and their family the same way so maybe the best ya can say is they are consistent.
That’s really sad, but likely true.

Our kids were right in downtown Philadelphia at the time.

There’s a lot of good people there, but there’s some not-so-much…….🤬

Got my 11 year-old gal (Standard Poodle) her second Librella shot. Really seems to help her mobility.
Librella is some good stuff. Our Gypsy girl has been on it for over a year now. That's a game changer.

Just curious... What are you paying per shot? Here in NE Ohio I'm paying $83 for the shot and $36 for the vet tech administering it, plus my vet insists on a quarterly re-eval for another $80.

BTW, Izzy also gets a daily 125mg of Rimadyl. What about Gypsy?

I am also interested in this drug. I think its the one the vet mentioned the last time we had Farfel in. The vet diagnosed him with hip arthritis. I think he said the shot was every 3 months. We are going to bring him back in 3mo to see how he is doing - vet thought it might be an episode he would just get over.

Is librella for athritis?

That's probably about we are paying. I couldn't tell you what the breakdown was between vet visit and shot cost. But it's around what your paying together.

I would question the vet on the quarterly evaluation though. The vet tech is pretty much covering the evaluation when you bring your pooch by.

The simple question "have you seen any improvement in your pets condition???" Pretty much covers that quarterly evaluation.

We were able to ween Gypsy off the Rimadil within 2 months. She had developed the stomach issue from the rimidil and was starting to vomit frequently.

Librella is a monthly shot, primarily for arthritis in older dogs. It's working very well for Izzy.

I'm on a shot that works similarly, so when the vet offered it for Gypsy, I jumped on it pretty quick.

I'm on shots too.... but I don't think Logan would like whiskey.

He is on Galliprant and Gabapentin for back issues, he's losing use of one leg.
He's a BIG guy so things are hard for him, we help him alot.

I'm going to talk with the vet about Librella.

Don't get me started on Rimadyl, that stuff is toxic for dogs.
If you have a dog on it you should be doing blood work constantly.
Any Nsaid is Hard on dogs stomachs.
If your giving them any nsaids, give them antacids (tums not rolaids) with it.

Geddy ran 5 miles with mom this afternoon. She’s preparing for a Half Marathon in late March.

Roads were a little sloppy. He was very dirty.

We did a quick 10-second tidy outside with a bucket of warm water.

He’s never been in one of our showers.

It was a Fugging (cross between a Fight and a Mugging), but he’s a LOT cleaner than he was.

His temperament is so jovial. He doesn’t get cranky.

That was definitely an indignant WTF expression he gave me, but we got him dried off and back to the 76 degree living room and pellet stove pretty quick.

I'm not really sure what he thought he was doing, but he certainly accomplished it. And now he is very proud of himself.
