The L2296 holds more than the 1811??

    FEL bucket - 6 or 7 foot

Bigger is ALWAYS better, this is America. IF you dont like it you can leave! ;). But seriously, I can think of uses where every bucket size would be best. A 5 might be best for digging and scraping, a 6 for tighter spaces and real dense heavy stuff, a 7 for heavy but not super heavy stuff...

Confused on Kubota tire options for M7060

I think i decided what to do. I think Ill go with line #2 which is the bias tires with the cast wheels. ITs only like $1200 more than the steel wheels and I can stomach that cost and feel its worth it. There is not much I like about the radial option: Cost more, dont like the LSW, dont...

    FEL bucket - 6 or 7 foot

Yes I will also have a 6" bucket for when in tighter spaces. I have piles and piles of shale I need to move around, and the stuff isnt really that heavy so I think a heaped 7' bucket would be no problem weight wise and save me time.

    FEL bucket - 6 or 7 foot

good call, that might be the ticket. I looked it up and its a TL3421A, described as "84" heavy duty. Appears to have a bolt on edge option

    FEL bucket - 6 or 7 foot

ITs really annoying they dont list the buckets separately. Even though they are QA, its that stupid steve jobs/Apple crap where they want to make the decision for you and match the bucket to the loader and not let you decide. You have to dig trough the loader parts diagrams to get the bucket...

    FEL bucket - 6 or 7 foot

Yeah good point. According to the manual, the M6060/7060 is 73 inches wide. Kubota does the whole FEL bucket thing kinda strange with not a lot of options. If you look at the LA1065 loader, they list 3 bucket options, the L2235A which is 72" sq back, L2236 which is 72" light material, and...

    FEL bucket - 6 or 7 foot

Ok yeah I want a heavy duty bucket. I wasn't sure if Kubota is calling it "light material" because of the size and they are worried about too much weight, or it is lightly constructed. From what you are saying it is more the latter.

    FEL bucket - 6 or 7 foot

Yes definitely the QA. Anyone have a m1815 bucket? Is it pretty ruggedly built? I will ultimately want both a six and a seven. My current tractor has a QA 6. I might not be selling it, and if I don't then I'm all set in the 72-in department. But I haven't fully decided about selling it yet.

    FEL bucket - 6 or 7 foot

Hey guys, another question relating to my probable upcoming M7060 purchase. Got thinking about loader bucket size. The m1811 is the standard bucket which is 6 foot. is there any reason not to go with a larger bucket? Seems like this tractor and loader can handle it except for maybe the...

Confused on Kubota tire options for M7060

What do you have for fronts? I am leaning towards going with the Basic R1's which are 9.5 in the front. i wish they were wider since I do a lot of heavy loader work. IF you have that width, how do you find they behave with heavy loader loads?

Confused on Kubota tire options for M7060

Another thing I thought of: I'll bet those 30" rears hold a lot more fluid and thus more weight than the 34" with those low profile tires.

Confused on Kubota tire options for M7060

I'm Not sure they are. Yes the wheel size is bigger, but they are LSW tires so a much thinner profile. Not that looks is a huge factor for me, but I don't like the look of the LSW's.

    M7060HD12 Vs MF 4707

I will revisit the situation with him next week. He did say they were the same price. But I will push him again on this, propose I would be willing to take the existing one but I expect a discount. Not having the tractor for two and a half months is actually a benefit in my situation. I...

    M7060HD12 Vs MF 4707

Guys, help me out again, I am having a tire/wheel crisis: That is over 6 months sitting out in the weather (presumably). If they offer me a discount for the existing iron I may go for it, but for the same price, I think Ill wait. Thanks for that heads up.

Confused on Kubota tire options for M7060

Yeah I like the wider tires in the front. And I definitely agree, I am also thinking about replacement cost. It's not just a one time cost. When I need or ruin a tire in 7 years, radials will again be more, the gift that keeps on giving.
