What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

With the right leverage you get any amount of force. I would try putting a tree trunk in front of it as a pivot and use a steel girder as a lever under the stump (you did a great job already digging everything out under it). Then push the lever down with the FEL. Or you simply use 10kg of...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Thou shalt not underestimate the power of leverage. Or as Archimedes said: "Give me the place to stand, and I shall move the earth."

I need wiring for a Kubota

Did you look at the link in Wolfmans post #5? It looks as if there are several wire looms required, each available in different versions. I do not know what the difference between those versions is but it may not be a 1:1 swap; you may have to spend a lot of time there too. And that after paying...

who has the most hours on their Kubota BX?

I trust this thread is entirely for BX tractors and not older small models?

    Oil level inconsistant

Oil level does change with cylinder in or out. The rod displaces oil when in. But it may be too small to see. In this case it is oil temperature. Thermal expansion of oil is way more than of the enclosure. And position of the tractor has a huge impact. But you said it is perfectly level when...

    File from the farrier

I needed a shim for a car rear axle, found that out Saturday afternoon (as usual) and wanted the job done. Grabbed a magnet, hopped into my car and drove to the filling station, tried all drink cans until I found a coke can made of steel (most were aluminium, maybe today all of them), bought it...

    G1800, G1900 shape floor panel

Hello, my floor panel has been butchered by one of the previous owners to fit a (non-fitting) cabin. I bought a second hand one that I want to do up (came in two halves, but that is a different story). What I noticed is that the floor is pretty much level whereas mine (left) has a kink in the...

    Oil level inconsistant

Is the tractor perfectly level when you check the oil? And I would think the level changes with oil temperature too.

Shipping Container Storage for M62 and Implements

I know, sorry, I would not wish that to anybody, but in Scandinavia for example they use trailers with crane mechanisms on both ends where they can pick up a fully loaded container from the ground. I had a shipping container for site storage and converted that to live in it and I had a good...

    Can't get 48" MMM Level

Here is the part for the two linkage positions depending on deck type for example. Not sure if that applies to your tractor / deck though. "If anything else fails, read the manual" :)

    Can't get 48" MMM Level

Did you not get an operator manual for the deck? The one for mine describes in detail how to adjust it, they also have the height measured on the outside, so no need to have access to the blades. On my deck the outside frame is not parallel to the blades.

G1900 3 point hitch seekers Public Service Announcement

@YOUNGDRETTI Any chance getting a good picture of the lever? Only what is visible would be fine, no need to take the fender off.

    Can't get 48" MMM Level

On my tractor the rear linkages can be put into two positions, depending on cutting deck. I cannot see how the linkages run on your pictures. Also the front linkage on mine was for a different deck / tractor, so there was no way then adjusting it properly. Is that a new tractor with a new...

    Dad’s tractor

Hi, the way I look at it you have four cylinders on this three point hitch. The two blue ones (right one has dirt cover missing, I think) move the lower links up and down. The yellow one is for the upper link. And the magenta one (I think this is the one you are moving) enables you to tilt...
