    B2710 Hydraulic Relief Valve adjustment

I see three quick connects. That suggests the valve has three connections to the tractor. The loader vslve is ahead of the tractors PRV and testing at the loader valve will tell you nothing about the setting of the tractor's PRV (3PT). It will tell you what the loader relief is set at and if...

    B2710 Hydraulic Relief Valve adjustment

I didnt say it would not work. What I did say is with that plumbing the loader relief if present has no effect on 3pt pressure. Dan

    Hydraulic filter

You can easily put a filter on the loader tank return circuit. It will only filter oil when the loader is being used but if you use the loader on a regular basis it should help considerably. They are cheap...

    Hydraulic filter

+1 on both counts. Do you havw a loader on the tractor? Dan

    B2710 Hydraulic Relief Valve adjustment

My pount was he said the Bushog only had two connections - e.g no power beyond. If thats the case connecting a gauge to the "outlet" hose deadheads the pump. He would be reading umrelieved pump outlet pressure which should be much higher than amything he reported. Something (lots of things)...

    B2710 Hydraulic Relief Valve adjustment

More than helpful - necessary. The LA401 uses the front block and has pressure, power beyond, and tank return connections to the tractor. Dsn

    B2710 Hydraulic Relief Valve adjustment

See my response above. I looked at the parts diagram for B2710 and the main system relief is in the 3pt cover which is after the loader valve. The outlet block for the loader valve is directly after the pump and us not protected by a relief. Exactly where are you cinnecting your gauge?. My...

    B2710 Hydraulic Relief Valve adjustment

No - as long as the main system relief is in the circuit his test is 100% correct. It also eliminates the loader relief from the circuit ensuring he is measuring the main system settimg and not the loader setting. I will also note that if his loader valve only has two hoses going to the tractor...

    Hydraulic filter

Heres my opinion. The OEM tank screen is not much of a hydraulic filter. I have owned and serviced my B7200 for 30+ years and I am sure adding a 10u paper filter would greatly improve oil cleanliness. Dan

If you have a loader put a filter on the tank return line. Dan

    Kubota d950 splined crankshaft adapter

Easier in multiple ways. The spline on the OEM adapter is a PITA to match. Dan

    Kubota d950 splined crankshaft adapter

Pretty easy to make your own takeoff and it gives you much more flexibility in the size and type of coupler needed. Dan

M120 with LA1601 loader, loader not working

Funny you should say that. Thw joystick linkage on my LA525 loader broke weeks ago and I ordered parts from Messicks. Nothing I got in two auccesdive orders was right. Talked to but the parts depsrtment about the serial number break their webpage showed. They insisted the parts were what was...

M120 with LA1601 loader, loader not working

20 and 30 are both going to what looks like an aux outlet block in the pump pressure line.. That would be P and PB in some order. 10 looks like it is dumping into the case - E.G tank. In anycevent the plumbing needs to match that drawing. Dan

    loader arms lift *very* slowly

If returning to NAPA educate your NAPA representative on the difference in flow characteristics between blowing air and a 2+ GPM of hydraulic fluid 🙄

    loader arms lift *very* slowly

The test demonstratef the problem is an obstruction in the return side. Coupler is an obvious sudpect but there are other posdibilties. Put the fully assembled coupler back on the hose but do not connect it to the pipe. Run the test agsin with the fully assembled coupler in the bucket. If the...

    loader arms lift *very* slowly

You are a quick study. That is exactly the thought process. Those couplers are probably not stabdard AG ("pioneer") couplers like sold by TSC and friends. Dan

    loader arms lift *very* slowly

Looks like I got the wrong coupler. Yellow must be the UP side. Put that one back togeter and repeat the test using the other coupler/hose. Dan

    loader arms lift *very* slowly

Symptoms point to a bad connection in the return oil path from the boom cylinders. The return flow is blocked locking the cylinders. Couple possibilities. Fully lower the 3pt and test the loader. If it operates correctly with the 4pt lowered the 3pt feedback is out of adjustment If the 3pt is...
