I saw your post about the King Cutter dump trailer that you change the hydraulics on.That hand pump hurts my neck do to an injury.Like to change it to the 12v system you did.Not knowing that much about hydraulic I was wondering if you wouldn't mind giving some pointers on how you did it.Like how you hook the pump up the cycinder. And how many times you can dump the trailer on a full charge.Any info would helpful. Thanks for your time Rob

Because the hydraulic cylinder is a one way system, meaning hydraulic lift, gravity down, you need to make sure you purchase a single action pump. I would have linked my amazon purchase for you, but I checked and that particular model is no longer available. I’m sure if you did some searching you will be able to find one. If I remember correctly, I had to have a new hose made for my installation as the connection between what was on the pump, and what was on the cylinder did not match. I went to my local hydraulic shop with the fittings that matched each end, and they made me a hose that eliminated having to use a bunch of fittings to adapt to the original. Made for a much cleaner install, but did cost about a hundred bucks more. There are just too many types of hydraulic fittings so I wouldn’t be able to tell you the exact ones I ended up with, but the hydraulic shop has them all, so no problem for them to make the hose.

I used a deep cycle battery that gives me at least 20-25 lifts and lower cycles, but I really haven’t actually counted the number of lifts or dumps. But as I recall, I’ve never worn the battery down in a days work. The one thing I would recommend is to put the pump and battery in a box like I pictured in my post. Anything that gets put in the dump trailer with a FEL on a tractor, will spill onto the pump and battery if it is located on the tongue of the trailer. It will also make it rain proof. Not knowing what you will be using to haul the dump trailer with, my only other recommendation is be aware of the weight involved with a full load of dirt. The trailer has no problem with carrying 3000 pounds, but trying to brake with a full load and an ATV doesn’t end well. If you have any more specific question, just ask and I’ll do my best to answer
Have purchased all of the parts to replace everything connected to an overhaul of the the Loader Lock Lever. What do I remove in order to gain access to the guts of the Lever on this 2007 L 4240 D HST with LA 854?
The loader joystick works fine until the valve lock moves from being in the unlock position and then the joystick resumes working again.

The loader lock lever has two positions - up or down withing an opening in the housing that the joystick sticks through. Lever will not stay in the position needed to work the joystick unless you hold it with your hand or stick a wedge to hold it in place.

A fej eltávolítása nélkül kicserélheti őket.
still here still playing with my b7000 and the B7100 trying to find the right gauge for the battery cables the old ones are worn off too much to tell
I am looking for engine panels for a L3010. Would you happen to have or know where I can find some ? I don’t want to purchase new. Thanks
Last week was a productive one. After rehabbing neighbor's long neglected Greenline PhD, I learned to use it by punching 24 holes in my orchard. Was happy then, but it got better when neighbor gifted me the implement because she had no need for it (ex-husband bought it, used it a couple times and it sat for years. Reinstalling U-joint guards, and installing the new shaft sleeve and she'll be in great shape.
Is this tractor and implements available? What is lowest price you will take? Would be coming from Titusville, Pa

Hi Tughill Tom,
Are you anywhere close to Carpenter Road and the Timberview Resort? We try and ride the Honda Pioneer side by side up there at least once a year.
We like to ride the side by side on the seasonal roads up on top of the plateau. It's very scenic there.
The tornado near Turin several years ago sure left a pretty good stripe of destruction up there!
I'm several hours south/southeast from you and live outside Norwich, NY. (Norwich is about an hour south of Utica on State Route 12)
Anyway, it is nice to see semi-locals here on OTT.
I met OTT Member "RCW" last week in person.

Do you still have the manual for the bf350a loader that you would be willing to share?
I have a B21 that gets weak after about 5 minutes of running, have replaced almost every Oring on the machine, and rebuilt all my cylinders,(they were due) also new S tube and Oring...

Is there a strainer in the tank on the suction side?
I just read the post you did on upgrading your alternator. Due to medical reasons and living the the south , I’m adding a Curtis cab to my b2601 and need 60 amps for ac. A retired Kubota service mgr said to buy a one wire alternator and increase the wire size from the one post to the starter and remove the bulb from the charging light in the dash. Am I missing something on the 2 wires you mentioned .? Could you email me some better information and pic’s please, I don’t get notifications of posts on here anymore. Thank you , Chris. From reading one of your psots it seems you might ahve a pdf copy of a manual for an L185.
My partner in France has just bought one. I am back at home in jersey now.

Any chance you could send AnneSophie and myuself a copy of the manual please?

I have recently installed at Hyd Chute Kit on my BX2350 tractor - snowblower BX2750D. Every thing seems to be working fine, however I was wondering what I should use for lubricant for the gear and gear segment that rotates the shoot, light general purpose oil or a light grease?
Hi, Lugbolt said you do a lot of instrument cluster repairs. I have a 2004 GMC and it had a remanufactured unit in it when I bought it used over2 years ago and have replaced it twice. Do you hire out?
