I was browsing and see you offered a very good explanation of the OPC timer. and hope you could provide some insight with my issue. The L3400, is having an intermittent engine stop. The engine may run 10 seconds or 5 minutes, and can't see any pattern to the length of time before shutting down. Checked the fuel stop relay and it is good. I had to move the tractor out of a flood area so we ran a jumper to the fuel shut off solenoid from the positive battery terminal and had no issues. Figured it must be the OPC timer and opened the dash. We hear the fuel solenoid click and found the glow plug relay would click at the same time. Does the OPC timer control the glow plug power as well as the fuel solenoid power?
Thank you for any insight you may provide. The local Kubota dealer isn't much help with this question so I am hoping somebody may have the info I need.
