ZD326s zero turn. Runs but won't do anything.

Good morning,

Yesterday morning I was cutting my grass and I got off of my lawnmower to move something out of the way. I didn't shut it off just the blades. Then when I returned back to the lawnmower to continue cutting I tired to start the blades to continue cutting and nothing happen. Now the lawnmower will not do anything besides start. It will not move, raise or lower the deck or engage the blades. But the seat safety switch still works.

I have checked all the fuses and cleaned all connections that I could find. Any advice would greatly be appreciated.

Check your hydraulic oil level.

I did the level is good. But I did find the issue. The U joint coming off of the motor broke so the drive shaft is not spinning the pump anymore. Thank you for replying

I thought about including the propeller shaft from the engine to the transaxle but I figured that if you were near the unit when it broke there would have been a lot of noise involved.

Yeah I figured I would of heard a snap or something. It broke on the motor side of the shaft so it didn't slap around or anything. Now I just need to find a replacement U Joint.

You are lucky that it broke on the engine side. The u-joints are common and can be obtained at most parts stores, just not a Kubota dealer. Replace both u-joints also.

Thank you. I am going to pull it off tomorrow and try to find replacement U Joints tomorrow
