my mower will not start. it seem to be in the safety switches. is there a way to by pass them so i can get the machine back into the garage ? can i tow it without doing any damage to the hydrostat ?

Do not try towing it...Unplug your shutoff solenoid wire, unplug the push-on wire from your starter solenoid. Turn ignition key to preheat then jump from battery post of starter to where you removed push-on wire. Now you can just drive it to the garage.
