ZD1021 HST LH Axle,Assy

I busted my housing on the transmission axle, ASSY housing. I have not been able to find a used transmission assy anywhere. Is there any other option aside from buying a $4K new one?

You might consider checking into having it welded & machined but depending on where you are it might not save enough to be worth the risk of the repair failing.

curious, is it a Kubota made piece or made by someone else ? If someone else made it, find the manufacturers part number and have Google find it. Tufftork make a LOT of them , and JD uses them.Buyingg TT parts is a LOT cheaper than the same JD part !

I can't see what's 'busted' in the picture, but second the 'take to a pro fab shop' and at least get their opinion.
