Today I cut grass for the first time this season using my Kubota Z121S zero turn mower and everything worked fine. I came back later on to put it in the barn, and it will not crank back up. Nothing. It just clicks when I turn the key, then everything is quiet.

This no start problem after mowing has happened multiple times since I bought the mower new--I think it's a 2014 or 2015--and it was in the shop a few years ago to have some switches replaced due to a recall.

I just purchased the workshop manual from partsguy.net and would really appreciate any insight anyone can offer.

Thanks so much.

Is your battery dead? Do you normally leave the unit attached to a trickle charger? Most do.

Work the park brake lever back and forth while you are holding the key in the start position. If it tries to crank over when you're doing that, your brake switch is likely failed. Brake switches on these were VERY common failure points. I'm surprised mine hasn't failed yet.
