I have a Kubota Z121S with the Kohler motor, 23 horsepower I believe. Yesterday I broke the housing cover for the air cleaner. Does anyone know the part number or where to buy this item?

Is that part 090? If so, it's called the Air Cleaner Cover, part # E7172-00460, according to Messick's.You can confirm with your dealer. The part under it (different diagram) is called a Blower Housing Kit.
Any lawnmower dealer can get it for you, all you need is the engine model number. Don't assume that they are all alike because there might be small differences that are not noticeable until you try to fit them. That is the reason for model numbers. If you are really lucky the lawnmower dealer might have one from a scrapped engine.
