I just got this B2150 tractor with Loader and Woods Backhoe. The backhoe was in pieces with a few missing parts, pins mostly, which I managed to make. I did find a diagram of the valve hose locations and everything works nicely.
What I cannot find is a diagram of hose routing, particularly through the boom. Any advice, diagrams or photos appreciated.

Thanks for the reply but your question seems a bit of a change up pitch. I don't know what size, length, end fittings, hose diameter etc. that you are looking for. The hoses are all original, except the ones I replaced and those were carefully matched with the old ones.
My question is about the routing of the hoses from cylinders on the boom and bucket to the fittings on the spool valve. The hoses are all in the correct position on the valve and everything works properly but the hoses are all just hanging between. I believe they should somehow go inside the boom and come out somewhere around the pivot but where that is does not seem obvious.

The reason why I asked the question is.... I have worked at a Woods dealer for over 22 years. The original hoses that route through the boom are 5/16" which are a bastard size for most hydraulic places. If you had a few of hoses made in 3/8" OD it makes routing which is a bastard to begin with, now becomes impossible.

All hoses hydraulic wise have the diameter labeled on the hose along with PSI.

Thanks, Pat. Sorry, I'm a bit new to this. Your comment makes perfect sense now. However, although I found the pressure rating (5800 lbs) I don't see anything that looks like a diameter. I'll look some more in daylight. I also haven't put my calipers to the hose but from what I can see otherwise, the old and new hoses are at least very close in size. (the OD on all the hoses is at least 1/2. Do you mean 5/18 or 3/8 ID?)

Perhaps I can also be a little more specific with my original quetion:
There is one cylinder inside the boom. I took the hoses for it and passed them down and out through the opening just above the swing pivot. The seem to be a bit vulnerable there and they are too long (original hoses).
The hoses for the bucket, also original, wanted to pass into the boom and out the bottom from habit. However, I let them exit at the boom /dipper pivot point instead.
The only new hoses, on the cylinder on the outside of the boom look as though they should go up and inside the boom too. They are just hanging on the outside and much too long.
(I'm sure this makes little sense but I'll try to get some pictures tomorrow)

From your comments, we could just drill and tap the boom on the outside and tidy everything with cable clamps. But it sure would be nice to have them inside, if that is still possible.

I looked at the parts breakdown for the whole machine and there is no specific routing.

I had mis-spoke on the hose size in one sentence:eek: the sizes refer to the I.D. !

At the 5800 PSI the hoses should be 1/4" according to Parker. With a .59 o.d.
We use farmex and their 1/4"burst at 5000 PSI

You could always call Woods to see if techincal could help 800-319-6637

Thanks Pat. Seems somebody might have a similar machine that I could look at or send pictures. I'd travel in New England. I'll also try calling Woods.
By the way:
I like you avatar, Olds Cutlass I presume? !970 from your ID.
I've got a '73 Buick Apollo. Not as nice or desirable but not many around.

Yes sir, a 1970 Supreme, thanks for the compliments!

Yep! The GM X body Apollo, Nova, Ventura and Omega. People love the Nova for some reason? I would step up to the others IMO a little classier.

You must have (besides mechanical) trouble getting parts for that bugger?
Where was yours made, Wixom or Van Nuys? 231 or 350?

Hi Pat,
Yes, Parts are difficult.
I am currently re-working a Nova taillight panel to accept the Apollo taillights, much more difficult than I thought.
The trunk floor, as far as I can tell, is unobtainable. Fortunately, mine is not too bad and will receive a couple of patches.
It has a 350 2 barrel with an automatic.

Here are some pictures I took to remind myself when I took my Bh750 apart to put new pins and make bushings for it a couple of years ago. I hope they can help you. The BH 750 and yours are almost identical except for the reach of the boom.
