I put myself on a short term tight budget and realized after the fact I still needed a winter cover (front) and side covers for my tractor still! Would love to pick up a set from birddog, but the noose was tied, lol. So I picked up a 24x48 inch sheet of corrugated plastic sheeting from Home Depot for the side panels (cut and secured from the inside with a couple zip ties). Still going to pull them out and spray black with plastic-dip. Took an old freezer jacket vest I had and started cutting, (totally ghetto, but hey, who cares? lol) I picked up a 10 pack of Neodymium magnets (small, but incredibly strong) and cut some slits from the back and inserted the magnets. This is what I came up with. All in- $25 bucks 4530ED6C-1013-46CF-B48D-E26B5B6DDD0D.jpeg
Keep in mind this only a temporary add- on but happy until I can put out the cash for a set from birddog (y)

Dang! Just when I've purchased a full bolt of material to support the launch of the new LX model covers you come out with the economy model. There goes my future beer money!! 😂 Actually, that looks pretty good and will certainly do the job. Nothing wrong with your clever use of those materials to make do and save some $$ at the same time. It will be interesting to know how much difference using winter front covers makes on the new LX models during actual conditions in our cold climes. And I'm sure there'll be the option of one of my sets for you anytime you'd be interested!! LOL!

Hey, if it works!

Ain't no shame in the ghetto look now and then.

Hahahaha, right on, I'm sure it will work in the meantime but my preference will be to line up one of your custom fronts, they look killer!

My Ford cold front was a dog food bag bungeed across the grill. It was blue and white. Some years it even ended up rightside up.
