I have a B4630, GST, bought it used, about 2 yrs ago. Ran fine. Yesterday went to dig hole for friend, everything went great. When leaving, they wanted to talk to me, and since I'm getting hard of hearing, I had to shut the machine down. Was running perfect until then. Battery is fine, but no dash lights come on, won't turn over, and don't get any click from switch when key is turned. Does anyone have any Ideas??? Being retired and on fixed income, I'd rather try and fix it myself, if possible! HELP please!!! Thanks

Just as guess but check to make sure everything is in correct place. Something simple could be preventing it starting.

If nothing electrical is turning on - my first check would be the battery cables. Is one loose or corroded?

All you need is a safety switch to be .1" out of whack.....

wiggle the seat as you sit, wiggle the pto lever, the clutch .....

Welcome!
Cheapest, simplest, most common, and the first place to check- the cables. Both on the battery, and at the other ends. Then, start looking at safety switches, as mentioned.

Being a GST, move the shuttle lever back and forth to neutral. ;)
