I have found my problem, the reverse gear looks to be relatively okay.
What I think based on my parts book is the Main Shaft is toast.
This may also explain the noise in 3rd gear.
Will definitely have to split the tractor for this, no way around it.
So the parts search starts, the part number for the main shaft in a L1500
is 34150-2151-4, any insight (Service Dept Vic) if this is the same part as
in a US equivalent, but with a different part number? What number?
