I know nothing about tractors of any type. The attached photo shows a white kubota for sale locally. I've not yet seen it, so I don't know the condition. Is it possibly a "gray market"? Priced at $2100 which seems low. Here is all info in the ad:

1994 Kubota HST, 4WD with hydraulic plow Does NOT have a PTO or three point. 585 Hours.

Any advice on value and if I should make offer, assuming it is in reasonable shape when I see it?

My primary interest would be plowing snow, maybe also grading of gravel driveway.

Thanks!

Congratulations, I believe you have discovered the rare Albino Kubota. I have heard rumors that such Kubotas exist but have never actually seen one. I understand they need to be stored inside as they sunburn easily. :D Sorry, I have no additional info.

Many kubota tractors were converted to airport use. These were often done by local dealers as well as businesses specifically for that purpose. These tractors were often stripped of their 3pt equip and etc. have extra sheet metal added, bumpers built and so on. these were often painted to colors of the individual airlines or the airport itself. I have spoken with one gentleman that owned a dealership here in ky that converted many such tractors over the years until his retirement a few years ago.

while these were never used in ag fields, many saw a great many hours use. does that make them bad? no, just know that going into it if considering purchasing it. plus to again use it in n ag setting a few tins may have to be removed or modified, 3pt lift parts located an installed, etc. Bad? no, but keep in mind when figuring total investment price. Oh, i have even seen photos of one such tractor I'm sure had airplane tires on it. we wouldnt ever wear them out in out lifetimes, 16-20 ply, just no good for anything but pavement that way.

Good luck.

Did you go look at it?

I think the price is close to right on it, he started quite a bit higher last year, and it's been slowly dropping. Not capable of what I needed out of it, but if you're looking for just a plow, then it might just be the right tractor for you!

Good Luck!
