We sure could use a good soaking rain, with plenty of runoff. I have 3 ponds to fill.

I was saying the same thing a weeks ago and then a week of nothing but rain. I'm hoping for ya my friend and your cattle. Watching the news it seems as though it's all or nothing, many folks suffering. :(

It's been raining here almost every day for the last 2 weeks. Thankfully we had a break and the lawn guy came yesterday and cut the forest.

I had given some thought to a rear mower but the tractor is just too heavy and has R4's. . .

I know I should be careful about what I ask for. But ….. send that rain this way, I’ll take all I can get.

We've had so much rain this week that local lake and river levels, which had peaked after the spring thaw, are rising again, almost back up to the peak. If it goes much higher, my boat will be parked OVER the dock, instead of beside it.

Looks like that jet stream thingy is looping around you and leaving you high and dry. Hopefully it will drift and you will get some relief.

We got another chunk floater this afternoon and are forecast for rain every day next week.

I hope you are high & dry. I don’t want to put anyone in danger or cause property damage.
We have been getting light rains, but nothing with some runoff. The brome is green & growing. The post hole auger is bringing up damp soil 4’ down. A neighbor’s cattle have been helping themselves to my nice tasty food plots (he has too many cows & not enough pasture). I just need to fill my ponds.
But enough, I should go get some cheese to go with my “whine”. 🧀🍷😭

No complaing here. Last year it was drought. Turn on the news last year drought in the entire country. Now the west got so much snow this winter ski areas had to close. Everyone including cally should have plenty of water and no wildfires. I have a 22' dug well. It's full to the top.

101° today. But have a severe thunderstorm coming through the area now. Emergency alert warned of possible 3" sized hail stone 😱😱😱😱

Winds blowing like a sum beach currently and tossing the trees around.

Rains started as well.

As hard as the winds blowing, it feels like a convection oven out there and hasn't cooled down any.

In Northeast CT we got about 1" of rain overnight, and the rain for today has been rescheduled for some time starting tomorrow and going off and on through the week. The weather man/woman is rarely ever correct, so if I get wet going to the car and the wipers are going, then I will say that it is raining.

We got 3.99” of rain here yesterday afternoon into the night from one thunderstorm after another. Lasted for about 10 hours. Don’t see any damage looking outside this morning but 4 towns south of here has a lot of damage from straight line winds and flooding. Guess I won’t be mowing the lawn today.

Decent thunderstorm this afternoon. Literally right as I got done blowing off the sidewalk and mower. Perfect timing! It was a quick hitter. Lots of rain. Not of much value since it all tends to run into the gullys. On the plus side, the doggo decided to dig in the puddles and get muddy from snout to tail. So he got a much needed bath.
