Put tie wraps around them. It prevents them from being knocked off when you hit tree limbs. I have lost a lens or two in the past until I placed a tie wrap around the center of the front and back part of the lens to keep the assembly together. I have not lost a lens since I did that.

Thank your lucky stars that only the lens popped off. Mine tend to get snapped at the base and just hang there. My BX is used to mow narrow orchards.

Before that, I tried putting a couple of drops of hot melt glue on the lens to keep it in place.

Ultimately, I decided that, since the tractor never goes on the road and is not used at night, the turn signal and emergency blinker are not necessary so are better just left off.

This, compounded with the dash switches being a complete pain when they get wet, led me to abandon the lights. The switches can just be popped out and unplugged.

Home fabrication is the only way I know, my wife goes through a couple of sets a year, it's a running joke at the dealer parts counter.

Yep, that worked for me. The worst part is not knocking them off, it's the sickening crack when you either run it over or run it through the MMM!

I'm thinking of making some small cages to to keep from breaking the red rear marker lenses in the fender. I know the fenders will flex some, so I'm hoping that will keep the wife from breaking the lenses. Again.

How timely. I just discovered this issue yesterday when, as I was mowing, I saw a lens just lying in the grass that I must have knocked off a few days earlier. Luckily it was unharmed (no trip thru the MMM!) and just popped back on.

I like the idea of zip tying it. Easy and effective. I'll do that today.
