Can I add 2" wheel spacers to my kubota lx2620 without bothering my 60" mowing deck?
Thank you.
The rear wheel will move out when you add the spacer. Raise your mower deck all the way up. Look at the distance between parts of the mid-mounted mower deck and the side of the tire. The space between will be the maximum spacer you could install before you have problems. But it wouldn’t be wise to install a spacer that wide, because you need a bit of space to count for shifting of the deck side to side as your mow.
The reason for raising the deck all the way up is because as the deck increases elevation the curvature of the tire puts the tire sidewall surface more forward towards the deck.
It’s a simple measurement to make. Check both sides because the deck could be asymmetrical.
