so heres a good little story. last 3 years ive lived in my new house the one neighbor plows all his snow across the street onto the front of my lawn. last year i told him if he does it again there'd be hell to pay. he said he didnt care, because before this year ive had a 5 horse 22 inch cut snow blower, its not like i could give it back to him. this year, his 600 pound cub cadet with molded plastic everything, i guarantee wont move more then my recent repower with a kubota engine. if he does his usual snow removal technique think i should return his snow so to speak? ive been thinking about this for almost a month, and since he didnt bother to plow the last 2 storms because we all knew it would melt the next day im not sure if hes gonna play his usual game.

So the question is really what to do with your neighbors snow?

Stumpy is probably right, the only guaranteed outcome from a winter-time "pissing match" with the neighbor is yellow snow!

I have to get involved in neighbor to neighbor conflicts from time to time with work. I find that the best option is generally just some good civil conversation so that everyone understands how things impact their property or operations. Usually, I find that folks really haven't "talked" much, if at all.

Then again, there are those people who just choose to be putz's, they are usually the same ones that will call the sheriff if you shove the snow back on their property. It's a little like a football game, the one that retaliates often gets the penalty.

yeah, if its a big pile and i know his cub wont move it ill push it back and just cover my tire tracks. and since our community didnt hire a plow guy, looks like me and my buddy are doing the roads to some extent....

Take a garden hose and soak down the ground infront of your house so he has no traction to push crap on your lawn. And with any luck he might slide sideways and the pucker factor might kick in and scare the hell outta him....

I never had a problem with snow but many years ago the guy next door had a yard that was for lack of a better word perfect, it looked like a golf green. I thinks that’s great, but he would mow and blow all his clippings into my some what less that perfect yard.
Now that didn’t bother me to much until one day he says ,,you know those dandelions might blow in to my yard you better get them cleaned up and kill the crab grass too! Here I am working 14/16 hours a day to support a family and buy a home and he wants MY yard to look like his. After a few days of contemplation on this I took a piece of plywood painted it white and in big letter wrote,,,
EXPERIMENTAL
Dandelion and crab grass farm.
DO NOT SPRAY OR MOLEST
I think it might have jacked him off a bit, but he never mentioned it again
Again it has nothing to do with your problem but I thought it was funny

Skeets now thats funny but effective ;)

A couple years ago after I got my BX24 with snowblower I finley had it with my neighbor who after several attempts to stop them from having their plow guy continue plowing the snow into my property. I took and my Kubota and gave a little demo of the distance and amount of snow my snowblower could blow and told for them for the last time I had the capability to place several feet of snow back in their driveway in a matter of only a few minutes.

Problem solved :D
