I bought this b7200 for 1k. Pretty beat up with a few coats of paint with model numbers and stickers covered up. This loader is different than my 1630 loader that came off of another b7200 gear drive tractor. The bracket under the belly of the tractor has a bend in it. The 1630 does not. They look a little different seems like too. Does someone know what loader this is? Thx

It's very possibly not a kubota loader.
It looks more like a great bend loader to me.

I'll look into it a little deeper.

Thx Wolfman,

I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I got this new phone and last few times I attach pictures on here somehow I fuddle it up and post them twice. I can't tell or I don't see duplicate pics before I hit the post reply button. Maybe I have to wait longer. Sorry about that.

I didn't even stop to think that this wasn't a kubota loader. That would suck. I bought it for that price thinking it was ha ha. The original color of loader under the 2nd or 3rd coat looked to match the tractor and just off of my very little knowledge of anything kubota, the loader warning sticker looked the same as my 1630 and the loader valve and joystick looks like the 1630 also. But I suppose all that could have been put on later.

I'm wondering if this is a superior/better loader to my 1630. And if they are desirable or sellable.

After looking at a lot of pics, this looks to be a 1640A Quick Attach Loader... That would be sweet if it is....
I saw this 1640A on a kubota 1750 tractor picture. It looks just like my loader here.
Still not sure though. Going to suck if it's not kubota. I could dig under the paint tonight.

@dano7200
on the picture posting process…
Go through the steps of getting the picture in place BUT do NOT then use the “buttons” that say attach thumbnail or attach full size. The full size picture is already there once. Pushing those buttons will add it again.

If you prefer to use a thumbnail size, you can but you will need to backspace out the full size picture already there.

Hope that helps. There is also a preview button you can use prior to posting, or you can edit the post after you see an error.

I had an LA300 on a B8200 tractor and it look a lot like what I remember of it. Even if it is not a Kubota loader it does not matter, you can make it work.

I now have 3 b7200 tractors. Two gear drives and 1 hst. I wanted the best loader of the two i have on my hst. Wasnt thinking i needed two loaders on two tractors. was going to get one of the gear drives working for other things besides loader work. I really bought this tractor for the tires and rims. I do not intend on mid mount mowing with any of them. Was thinkin about selling one of the loaders to recoup some cash.

Upon closer evaluation it is a B1640 loader.
Loaders of this era were made by Woods and by Great Bend so they look very similar.

The B1640 was a change in that the subframe works on E, DT and HST model tractors.

Thx for confirmation wolfman. What is difference between B1640 and B1640A? Ive read that 1640A is quick attach but not sure what just plain B1640 loader is. So is mine still quick attach? Or does the "A" denote the quick attach version or some other difference between the two?
