What did I do wrong? B20 Question?

I am new to orange tractor talk. I just bought my first Kubota. It is a 1990 B20. After purchase, I realized a considerable oil leak coming from the input shaft on the front top of the hydro. I posted questions about replacing the seal on the hyrdo, once on 9-7 titled (Front hydraulic seal replacement B20) and again on 9-8 titled (Help please, hydraulic seal B20). I'm wondering if I posted this right or what. Looks like people have viewed it but no response so far. I just don't always understand all of this computer stuff to know if I am doing it right. Is the post showing up? Has no one so far known what to do? Did I explain my problem well enough? Or do I just need to chill and be more patient? Someone please respond to this so I know that I am at least posting things right.
Thank you, Andy.

Probably the right guy hasn't seen your question, I'm sure someone must be familiar with your model. (I am not) Patience usually pays off around here.

I have replaced seals on other hydros but not yours.

You need to post pics.

You want a response? Post a pic so others can see what you see.

I don't want to steer you wrong, nor do I want to look stupid.

kubota B20 033.jpg Thanks for replying to me. This is the view down between my legs as I sit on the tractor. There is a 4x4 inch plate that I pulled off to take the picture. The seal that is leaking is down on the bottom of the picture by that splined shaft. The seal is on the casing of the hydro. I thought maybe I could remove the roll pin and drive the shaft connector ahead and get the seal replaced but no such luck. Does this mean split the tractor or can I remove just the hydro and get it apart to replace the seal? Thank you.

Just had another one of these on here.
Yep your going to have to split it.:(
It's not that hard but it takes a little time and a good memory or manual on parts locations.

Ok. Thank you for the information, I was afraid I might have to split the tractor to do it but so be it. So there is no way to just pull the hydro casing off? Which is the best way to split the tractor? Try and pull the rear end and back of the tractor away or loosen the engine and clutch and pull that forward????? Looks like maybe if I loosened the engine and clutch maybe I could pull it forward enough to get the spline connector on the drive apart. Any info would be awesome.
