I'm located in the deep south and I'm about to flush my radiator for the first time. Any suggestions or a particular brand? Doe anyone use pre-mix?

Should be in your manual, but I think they all use the green variety (ethylene glycol). And yes, premixed should be fine.

The standard green is fine, but there are other coolant types with longer service intervals. My personal choice is Zerex G05 HOAT (hybrid organic acid technology), which has a 5 year interval as opposed to standard green’s 2 year.
Many here use an OAT coolant, and hopefully they will chime in on the type and brand. A coolant I would strongly not recommend is DexCool or any Dex clone. Cooling systems must be specifically designed for this type of coolant.
