What a dilima??? My sexy little tractor isn't what it seems...

I have a z L1225-D I have spent way to much on service manuals. None of them are for my tractor.

The motor has stamped on it D1462-D1 But supposedly the L1225 should have the D1100. NOT!

If anyone can help me figure out which manuals I should be getting it would be highly appreciated. I have spent hundreds and the place I got these from doesn't want to take them back. grrrr. I can't afford to keep buying manuals to find the right engine that goes to my sexy little tractor so that's what brings me here.

First I think you might be reading the model # wrong, it should be L1-225DT If it is a 4wd, or a just L1-225 if it's 2wd

Manuals on L1's are hard or impossible to find.

What country are you in?

The only US tractor to ever have the same motor as that, is a L2950
If you disregard the sheet metal, I think this is a match.

Thank you info. I will most much for definitely check it out.

Believe it or not, I have been searching for this for over a year. Those numbers are exactly what is on the tractor. And your are absolutely right, it is very difficult to find the books on this thing.

I am from the US. I will come back and let you know what I find out. Maybe it will help someone else some time.

Oh and your puppies are awesome. I have shepherds, I just love dogs!
