Hi everyone,
I have a l4200 and often I use a Farmi logging winch on it. It pulls out all sorts of big logs with no problem but I've heard of problems with the top link bracket cracking when a 3 point backhoe is used without an sub frame. Mine is not cracked but I worry a bit on it when the winch pulls hard. Anyone know of a heavy duty bracket for a l4200? or maybe I don't need one?
Thanks

How about attaching the winch to the drawbar instead? Thats where Kubota recommends as the best spot to tow from...low and attached to the chassis. 3PH wasnt designed for high dynamic loads from attachments like backhoes.

The winch is a 3 point attachment type. It needs the bottom link arms and the top link. it has a fairlead at the top to keep the logs from dragging too much.

There is a reinforcing bracket that was made for just such things.
Not sure if any are still available:

There was a kit for this
P/N 70050-94886

Parts wise basicly 4 parts:
