Found this site through research on Youtube in reference to a L2850. I can not say enough how it has helped on some service issues I had and want to thank "Vic" since the videos were very helpful.

I have been around equipment most of my adult life, but recently have been thrown to the wolves you might say to the wonderful world of ORANGE! My wife lost her grandfather and father within a 6 mos period. She has no brothers and now I am caring for 2 country homesites besides our own. I enjoy doing it, and luckily her grandfather has a L2850 to help with the work.

He was a master of McGyver mechanics and was hard on everything he owned, thus this little tractor has been through the ringer with about 1300hrs and I am assuming it is about a 86' model. It fires right up, runs great, and handles all the work load with ease. Now that I am using it, I am putting it to work on our deer lease on the weekends, planting food plots and bush hogging. Just wanted to stop in, and register to the site, and once again - thanks for the videos! One thing he didn't do was leave me a note telling me the fuel system was so dirty!! LOL!

Welcome to the Orange community. :D

That tractor will take the virgin outta ya. LOL.

Keeping fuel additives in the tank will protect against some of the "dirty" problems. Also changing the filter at good intervals.

I use a cetane booster that has lubricant additives for the injector life and fuel life. Also some additives control against algae if it sits. I use some of this too since mine sits for long periods between uses.
