Please forgive me if this has been covered. I searched the site and couldn't find an answer. I have a 2019 MX5200 with about 50 hours on it. I'm the original owner. Last week I noticed the left round upright fender mounted turn signal/flasher did not light up when activated. The right side flashed as it should when activated, but stayed solid when activating the left side. The yellow signals built into the rear of the fender (with the brake lights) both flash as they should, but the opposite side of whats been activated stays solid. I assumed this was a bulb. I bought a new 1156 bulb and swapped with the old one. It made zero difference. Now, as of today, the right round upright fender mounted turn signal/flasher is out too. I checked for loose connections and bare wires under both fenders. Any help would be appreciated. I just got a job bush hogging the sides of the roads in a rural neighborhood and feel like the emergency flashers should be operable. Thanks in advance.

5 OAKS...The GE 1156 lamp (bulb) is a single element lamp. The GE 1157 is a dual element for stop/turn signal use in most equipment. Are you sure about that 1156 being correct?

Check bulbs with an ohmmeter to ensure they are good. Check fuses. If fuses and bulbs are all good, due to the age and number of hours you're probably still covered by warranty. It could be a bad flasher, switch, connection, or even a grounding problem.

I agree with Roadworthy. If the bulbs, fuses, and connections are known to be good, the flasher and switch assemblies would be the next places I'd look.

As Bulldog pointed out, this is the safety standard built for tractors. Unlike your car, if you turn on the right side blinker, the left side will go solid, even if you have your hazards activated.

It is to provide those from behind the ability to see that you are turning and keep the additional light lit for warning visibility.

ANSI/ASAE S279.17, Lighting and Marking of Agricultural Equipment on Highways is the standard that this falls under.

Thanks guys. The bubs are definitely 1156. The part that confuses me is that the lights on the back of the tractor work perfectly which would indicate the switch and flasher work correctly. Also, the top mounted round flashers draw power/signal from the same wiring harness as the rear mounted lights meaning connections and grounds should be intact. I went ahead and replaced both bulbs despite them looking fine and there was no change. I'm at a loss. I'm sure the unit is still under warranty, but I hate to load it up and drop it off for something that should be so simple.

Also, i did not know the opposite was supposed to stay solid so I definitely learned something new - thank you for that.

Are your hazard bulbs leds by any chance? If so, they can only be wired one way instead of either way like incandescent bulbs. If they are, look at the wiring on the working side and swap the wiring on the non working side and see if that corrects it.
