Trick to remove drive shaft - bx1860 shaft keeps spinning

Hi,

New to driveshafts - is there a trick to remove the main driveshaft on a BX1860? It keeps cranking the engine when I try to spin off the three bolts. I got two off but the last one is a PIA.

Pipe wrench or get an impact wrench and spin it off. Good luck

just jam something into the coupler to stop it from turning
and unless you have a two piece coupler, the engine has to be removed off its mounts and slid forward a few inches to get the shaft out.

you can also clamp the driveshaft to stop it from turning. just dont forget to remove the clamps.
