Transmission oil

I have a 1980 B6100D with 2000 hrs on it. I have always used 80w 90 fluid in it. Question is would it be ok to change it to SUDT. The winters can get pretty cold in NH.

If it's a hydro you are using the wrong fluid, should be UDT. gear trans, 80-90 is fine.

Your not going to hurt it any changing, but your not really gaining anything, that unit doesn't really care what is in the gear case.

thank you for the quick reply. I was going through the whole thing before cold weather really gets here. It is a standard transmission .
