Transmission and hydraulic fluid the same?

Yes, I'm new. I have a grey market. I really know not much about tractors.
The front bucket uses a hydraulic fluid and has a "motor" in the front with it's own tank in the front upright. The rear gannon seams to run from the transmission.
Is the fluid the same? The transmission has a dipstick by the shifter.
