My l-4600 was returned from rental Saturday. This morning, it was apparent that the customer was hydroseeding and sprayed the machine with rye grass seed. Now, everywhere there is dirt and moisture, there is grass. My question is, can I use Round Up or does anyone have a preferred spray for this common occurrence?

Yep that should do it.
Apply it in the heat of the day. ;)

What heat of the day????:p Oh wait, maybe SC has some left.

Seems like if you just wait a while the rye will die from lack of water and nutrients? Your tractor can't be that dirty :eek:

If it is dirty enough to support growing grass you might want to consider using a pressure washer to clean it up a bit.

During hunting season the floor mats in my truck collect enough dirt I suspect they could support the sprouting of corn.

My L4600 no way, wash and clean it more than my truck.

Post some pics I would love to see this.

Roundup can cause health issues. Careful with it.

Reminds me of the people that run the grain mill behind us at work. They have to mow their roof a few times a year. Grain dust settles on the roof and stuff grows up there. Few times a year they put a pushmower and an operator on a pallet, lift him up to the roof and let him spend a couple hours mowing the roof.
