TPH side to side play

If using a rear implement such as a box blade, how much side to side play is there supposed to be in the linkage? Would turn buckles remove all play?

The turnbuckles can be tightened to remove all play but you don't want to do that. You should remove most of the play. The implement should not be so loose as to allow the lift arms to contact the tires. I usually allow a couple inches of play. Others may prefer different amounts.
