Good day all! I'm a total newb to tractor repair so please be kind if I sound like an idiot. I was driving my B7100 HST the other day and I felt liquid spraying on my leg. I stopped the tractor and it was coming from what I assumed to be one of the hydraulic lines leading into the block under the driver's seat. The three point harness was all the way up, and when I released it the liquid stopped spraying. When I retracted it, it sprayed again. I isolated the exact problem and have included pictures of what I found, basically the line snapped off at the head. So my question is, can I run the machine without the use of this line if I refrain from using the three point harness and leave it in the current 'down' position?

Should you run it - no - because junk will get into the hydraulic system and cause early failure.

Unless your tractor is in a critical position, leave it parked. If you need to move the tractor onto a trailer, do it quickly and efficiently. I am sure if you call the Kubota parts and order that specific part, you maybe able to pick it up this afternoon and replace it on your tractor. Work the phone calling several Kubota parts departments. Send them your pictures. Also, purchase 5 gals kubota hydra fluid to top off what you lost.

Good to download a parts listing of your specific tractor. These provide quick reference numbers to every single part on your tractor. Makes ordering parts online or over the phone a snap.

That's awesome, thanks for that url. Found the model and hopefully the part no problem!! However, the one piece I need isn't labelled in a way that makes it obvious to identify by name. I think it's this part: Kubota Pipe, Delivery 66204-36130, but again I'm doing a process of elimination from the diagram. The two pictures I'm posting of the part are where the line attaches to the block under the driver's seat, snakes along the side of the tractor and comes to a block shaped part that continues another few inches going under the hood.

Ok Jeff. Good Luck with your repair.
Sounds like you have it under control.
Sometimes these minor repairs are headaches, but they do force you to learn more about your tractor and the parts supply system available to you.

Can anyone in this forum confirm that the part I need, as pictured and described in the above posts, would be: Kubota Pipe, Delivery 66204-36130?
Will need the serial # off the side of the clutch housing (it's stamped it the housing).

Now if it is 66204-36130 your chances of getting it are going to be near to impossible, as is the other one.

The other issue is it's a $300 part and probably way more in Canada!

That's a very easy fitting to weld and put into service again.
If you don't weld or have a local shop to do it, throw it in a box and send it to me and I'll fix it up for ya! ;)
